Consider the UAV Pilot Logbook Pro Digital Edition, from Parhelion Aerospace.

Spend far less, work offline and retain your own data on your own machine!

Download the new, fillable PDF version of our popular flagship UAV Pilot Logbook Pro and capture the convenience of electronic logging but without the expense, limitations and risk associated with subscription accounts.

The UAV Pilot Logbook Pro Digital Edition is a multi-page, English-language, fillable PDF that automatically calculates elapsed time for each flight and sums all time values. It additionally automatically carries over and updates all totals throughout the book. Its professional logbook format will be familiar to pilots of all backgrounds and consequently it is very, very easy to use. It looks and works  like a logbook should.

As far as we know it is the first and only digital drone logbook of this type and scope available anywhere today. Another first from Parhelion Publications!

The PDF document works fine on Mac or PC. A quick overview:

This new book is an updated and improved version of our hardcover edition of the UAV Pilot Logbook Pro, that has been selling since publication in 2018 (Amazon 5 star rating), but in digital form.

The Pro version of the UAV Pilot Logbook series is a complete and comprehensive log, especially designed for professional use. In this book you can record flight and pilot training information for all types of UAV operations, as well as considerable aircraft technical data. For a smaller, less comprehensive version (but not digital – yet!), see our new UAV Pilot Logbook 3rd Edition. For an in-depth look at what you need to know about drone pilot logbooks, read our Parhelion Guide article: Drone Pilot Logbooks. In case what you really need is a technical logbook for your aircraft, read our Parhelion Guide article: Drone Aircraft Logbooks. To compare the pros and cons of digital and paper logbooks, read our Parhelion Guide article: Digital or Traditional Logbook. For an overview of all of our drone logbooks, go here.

In the UAV Pilot Logbook Pro Digital Edition you can record flight time for rotary, fixed-wing and lighter-than-air (LTA) UAV operations, so that you will be able to log all of your aircraft in the same book. You can record data from 640 flights, and because the format is somewhat larger than that of our other UAV logbooks you can record a greater variety of data for each flight. These characteristics make the UAV Pilot Logbook Pro Digital Edition the most complete record of your flying experience that you can get, using a stand-alone digital logbook version.

On the inside you will find:

The UAV Pilot Logbook Pro Digital Edition begins with an extensive Aircraft and Equipment Data section, in which you can record identification information for up to 16 different aircraft, as well as data about batteries, other power sources (e.g. liquid fuel) and additional equipment (cameras, etc).

A main Pilot Flight Log section follows, in which you can record the registrations of the different aircraft in use for each of your flights and their types. You can also record flight locations and times, flight durations, flight functions (e.g. Instructor time, etc), numbers of landings, night flying time, maximum aircraft height and distances flown. Additionally, you can record batteries or fuel use, battery charges, inspections and calibrations accomplished, technical problems found and corrective actions performed, remarks about the flight and endorsements (e.g. Instructor signature).

This section provides easy-to-use instructions about how to fill out the log, with example pages included. Flight data occupy the even-numbered pages. Notes about the flights (e.g. aircraft condition, sensors used and results gained) occupy the odd-numbered pages. Since these face each other when the book is open you see the entire record of a given set of flights at a glance, as in pages 28 and 29, reproduced below (of course the words “Copyrighted Material” will not appear on your copy):

The UAV Pilot Logbook Pro Digital Edition also has a final, Record of Training section, in which you can log all of your training courses taken and exams passed, as well as places for instructors to sign these off, as required.
